Private Treatment

Adults

Private treatment from Overleigh Orthodontics is applicable to all individuals over 18 years of age. Years ago, the only option for adults was metal braces; but now, teeth can be straightened with incredibly subtle – and in some cases almost invisible – braces. We have a treatment co-ordinator who will guide you through the treatment options available and who will be able to answer any questions that you may have please call 01244 677667.

Children

Waiting lists, lack of choice for adolescents who want less conspicuous braces and NHS restrictions are all frustrating problems for today’s parents seeking a confident smile for their children. We have a treatment co-ordinator who will be happy to discuss the private options available for children.

Private Treatment Interest Free Credit

We firmly believe that financial considerations should not be an obstacle to a beautiful smile, so we offer finance that makes private orthodontic treatment very affordable. With a representative 0% APR over 12 months (subject to status) and interest bearing options available to help spread the cost further, you can choose the one best suited to your circumstances.

The price of your treatment includes all your active treatment, as well as retainers (i.e. the devices that hold your teeth in position) and 12 months’ post-treatment follow-up. This is an inclusive price – there are no hidden costs. The cost may vary according to the complexity of your case, but the fees you can find here are a useful guide.

Private Treatment Private Patient Journey

Step 1 – The Initial Consultation

Your orthodontic treatment journey will begin with a consultation with one of our specialist orthodontists. You don’t need a referral from your general dentist to have this consultation. You can call us and book an appointment time that suits you.

Step 2 – Orthodontic Assessment

There are two key objectives to your initial consultation:

The first is to allow you to ask whatever questions you may have about orthodontic treatment. Your orthodontist and treatment co-ordinator will aim to answer all of these.

The second objective is to undergo an orthodontic assessment. This is when your orthodontist will examine your teeth and mouth, take clinical photos and any x-rays if needed. This information helps us to plan your orthodontic treatment.

Step 3 – Making the Decision

Once the orthodontist has completed an initial assessment, all the information will be presented to you in your treatment plan. This will outline the type of treatments you will most benefit from and the estimated length of time treatment will take. Your treatment co-ordinator will give you a quote detailing the cost of your treatment, provide information on payment plans and be there to help you with any queries or concerns you may have.
